Being recognized as the best at what you do is humbling, yet provides ample motivation to continue to be even better.
For the fifth consecutive year, Rock Valley Physical Therapy has been recognized at the top Physical Therapy entity for 2020 by Quad-Cities-based Locals Love us (localsloveus.com). Winners are recognized in the annual Locals Love Us guides, online and with the highly recognizable Locals Love Us award signs.
According to its website, Locals Love Us begins each competition with locals voting for their favorite places in 14 major categories and 200 sub-categories, all done in a secure, online survey. Voting is open all year. Each category can have up to five winners, depending on the number of places nominated and the number of votes cast.
So…
If it makes a difference in the Quad-Cities, Locals Love Us has a category and sub category for it.
“We are humbled to be receiving the honor for the fifth straight year,’’ said Mike Osler, Vice-President of Growth and Development for Rock Valley Physical Therapy. “The award says a lot about the people we serve in the Quad-Cities as well as the quality of the people who work for our organization.’’
What remains unique to Locals Love Us, is voters are given a chance to cast their ballot for a variety of options in the different categories, but only once in each specific sub category. Each person is allowed to vote in each category one time. A person must create a login and password and provide a few personal details about themselves before starting. If they try to vote more than once a year, it will override their previous vote.
With Locals Love Us, there is no stacking the ballot box and winning is based on the entity being the best at what it does.
Rock Valley Physical Therapy, founded in Moline in 1984, is a patient-centered, therapist-led organization dedicated to improving the health of the Midwest communities it serves. It features 50 clinics in seven regions over Illinois and Iowa.
“We are grateful for the past and committed to continuing to get better every year,’’ Osler said of the honor recognizing Rock Valley as the best in Physical Therapy for the fifth straight year.
