Shae is from Rock Falls, IL and currently resides in Davenport, IA. Shae received her undergraduate degree from Western Illinois University in speech-language pathology and reviewed her Master’s degree from Augustana College. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and her dog.
Why did you become a Therapist?
I always knew I wanted to work with kids and help others. All of the career quizzes I took suggested I be a teacher; however, that did not feel like my calling. My aunt introduced me to the field of speech pathology, I job shadowed and quickly fell in love. I love that everyday is not going to be the same and how as speech pathologists we are able to help all ages.
