Why did you become a Physical Therapist?
My favorite classes in high school were the sciences and I went into college knowing I wanted to do something in health care. While trying to decide on a career path, I had the opportunity to job shadow several area physical therapists and I was immediately drawn to the impact they made on peoples’ lives through their caring hearts and their hands on skills. From that point, my mind was set on becoming a physical therapist.

What are you involved with in your community?
I am involved in the Booster Club at Xavier High School running the concession stand for both the softball and the football programs. I also represent the softball team in the Booster Club as a team parent. I’m an active member through various volunteer opportunities at our church, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Hiawatha, IA.
