Michala is from Calmar, IA where she currently resides. Michala received her undergraduate degree from Loras College and her Masters of Occupation Therapy degree from Allen College. Outside of work she enjoys being active and learning applicable like skills, spending time with family and friends, hiking, biking, kayaking, home projects, reading, and listening to podcasts.
Why did you become an Occupational Therapist?
OT is a nice blend of who I am as a person both at work and outside of work. It allows me to use my creative side, guidance-based research, and provides me with an opportunity to ‘geek out’ to continue learning within my scope of practice.
