Olivia is from Grand Mound, IA and currently resides in DeWitt, IA. Olivia received her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Clarke University in Dubuque. Outside of work she enjoys walking, spending time with her husband and son, and crafting.
Why did you become a Therapist?
I knew that I always wanted to work in the healthcare field and enjoyed learning about human anatomy and physiology but just needed to find my niche. I was inspired by my mom, a nurse, and her journey through her education and working toward her master’s degree. She inspired me to explore my options and I grew to love physical therapy and the way it blended with athletic training.
What are you involved in in your community?:
I am thrilled to be working in the community I grew up in and give back to the people who have helped me throughout the years. I’ve volunteered for the Skeff Race, Triathlon, enjoy attending the happenings in Lincoln Park/Downtown, and have networked at the DCDC Revive events. I am excited to see what other opportunities pop up in the future!
