Marissa is from Minnetonka, MN and currently resides in Cedar Falls. Marissa received her undergraduate degree in health science from Bradley Univeristy and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Iowa. Outside of work she enjoys reading, biking, hiking & traveling.
Why did you become a Therapist?
I have always loved volunteering, so knew I wanted a career where I would get the chance to help others daily which led me to healthcare. I shadowed a variety of health professionals while in high school and college and chose PT for the opportunities I get to help people along their entire recovery journey and form lasting relationships with them.
