Why did you become a Physical Therapist?

To help people heal and develop effective strategies to rehabilitate from injury, surgery, pain, muscle imbalance, sports biomechanical deficits.  Also, to be a trusted pathway for healing and a reliable resource people can come to anytime, when it comes to helping them get to a solid medical resource, if physical therapy is not warranted at that particular time, who can best help in the healing and rehabilitation process.  Providing the appropriate education to patients and setting realistic expectations for people to return to functional life activities and to enjoy family, work and leisure is a primary goal for patients.
