Jessica is originally from Lostant, IL and currently resides in West Des Moines, IA. Jessica received her Bachelors degree in Exercise and Sport Science as well as her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Evansville in Evansville, IN. She has worked as an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist in Cleveland, TN for the past six years. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys traveling, hiking, and playing guitar and piano.
Why did you become a Therapist?
I was inspired to pursue physical therapy because of a physical therapist who invested in me, helped me overcome an injury, and ultimately guided me to my goal of returning to softball after a knee injury. I was amazed by his understanding of the human body and the way he progressed me from my state of injury to return to play. A career in physical therapy provided the perfect combination my love for anatomy, the challenge of solving puzzles, and an outlet for me to coach and empower people.
